In the last year I've had the opportunity to collaborate on two installations with my good friend, and accomplished encaustic artist, Dara Solliday. We share a medium, but differ widely in how we use it, and how we process and respond to visual culture. We both, however, have a fascination with built environment and landform, and it has been very stimulating to make large scale work meshing the two approaches together.
